Try your best to stay in class for the whole 90 minutes. As a beginner it is ok to sit down if you feel dizzy. Please don’t leave the room, as we can’t look after you if you exit the class, and it can be disruptive to the other students.
It’s normal to feel dizzy or nauseous when beginning Bikram Yoga; do not be concerned, you will be allowing parts of your body to open that may have been stagnant for years and toxins will be released. You will be surprised how much easier a class gets as you clean and strengthen your body. You will begin to see the heat as your friend and makes you feel GREAT after class!
Please leave all belongings in the changing rooms or you can bring small valuables into the class. Phones must be turned off. All you need to take to class is your mat, towel and water.
All classes are 90 minutes long.
No need to book ahead. Just arrive 20 minutes before class to complete your registration.
Avoid eating 2-3 hours before class.
Drink plenty of water. At least 1 litre before and after class.

Pregnancy Yoga
- We advise our expectant mothers to consult with their doctor prior to practicing Bikram Yoga during pregnancy.
- It is important that you tell your instructors as soon as possible so we can educate and assist you during your pregnancy.
- If you are a regular Bikram Yoga Practitioner for more than a year, then you may continue with the yoga postures in Bikram’s beginning yoga class until your third month, or up until the time you are no longer able to lie on your abdomen. Then you should use the pregnancy series.
For first time pregnancy it is better to avoid any new form of exercise in the first trimester. You can practice Rajashree’s Pregnancy Yoga after the 1st Trimester.
